Privacy Notice
Weimo (hereinafter referred to as "we") values the protection of personal information. This privacy policy explains how we handle your personal information when you visit our website, consult with us, or use our services. We process personal information in accordance with Mexican personal data protection laws.
Party Responsible for Your Personal Information
The party responsible for processing your personal information is WM DOS PILARES EMPRESARIAL, S.A. de C.V. (trading as Weimo), with its address at Av. Paseo de la Reforma 222, Col. Juárez, Alcaldía Cuauhtémoc, C.P. 06600, Ciudad de México, Mexico. For any questions about your personal information, please email contacto@wmdospilares.com.
Information We Collect
Information you provide voluntarily: name, contact details, company name, position, and consultation content;
Information required for service processing: identification documents, passports, residency permits, tax information, family relationship proofs, etc., collected only when specific services require them;
Automatically recorded information during website visits: your IP address and the approximate geographic location derived from it (country/region, province/state, city) and your network operator, the pages you access and their timestamps, the language displayed on the page, your browser and its version, operating system and device type, your browser’s timezone settings, the page you came from, and some of your actions on the page, such as clicking phone, email, or other website links, switching languages, or finishing reading an article;
Cookies: language selection cookies, visitor statistics cookies, and cookies that remember your choices regarding statistical cookies, as detailed in the “Cookies” section below.
Website Access Logs
Each time you open a page on our website, our server records an access log containing the automatically recorded information listed above. Browser, operating system, and device type are identified from the User-Agent information sent by the browser, which also helps us distinguish between regular visits and automated visits from search engines. The source page address is recorded without query parameters.
The approximate geographic location and network operator (e.g., telecom or cloud service provider) are inferred by our server using an offline IP address database. Your IP address is never sent to any third party during this process. The inference is accurate only to the city level; if you use mobile networks or VPNs, it often shows the location of the network operator and cannot determine your exact location. We use this data to track visitor origins by country and city and to identify automated visits from data centers. We also compare the browser’s timezone with the inferred country; if they don’t match, we mark the visit as potentially routed through a proxy or VPN for statistical purposes only.
If you have not rejected the statistics cookie, access logs and page operation records will also include the random visitor ID from the visitor cookie. This helps us determine whether multiple visits come from the same visitor, count visitor numbers, and distinguish between new and returning visitors. This ID does not include your name, contact details, or any other personal information, and we will never link it to the personal information you provide to us.
Access logs are stored on servers we manage and processed by us. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising services, and access logs are not used for ad targeting.
Access logs are generated server-side and cannot be disabled via browser settings. You can request the deletion of logs related to you as outlined in “Your Rights”.
Cookies
Our website uses the following three cookies, all set by our website and used only on our site:
Language cookie: When you select a language from the language menu, your browser saves this choice, and the selected language will be displayed directly on your next visit. It contains only the language code and expires in one year.
Visitor cookie (for statistics): Set by our server on your first visit to our website, it contains a random ID used for the purposes described in “Website Access Logs”. Scripts on the page cannot read this cookie. It expires after approximately 13 months and is not extended; a new ID is generated upon expiration.
Choice record cookie: Remembers whether you clicked “OK” or “Decline” in the cookie prompt to avoid repeated prompts on future visits. It contains only your choice and expires after approximately 13 months.
On your first visit to our website, a cookie prompt will appear at the bottom of the page. You can click “Decline”: afterward, we will no longer set or read the visitor cookie, and any existing visitor cookie in your browser will be cleared when you open the next page. You can always click the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page to adjust your choice. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a rejection and will not prompt you again.
Rejecting the statistics cookie does not affect website usage. Website access logs will still be generated (as described above), but without the visitor ID. You can also delete or disable these cookies in your browser settings; disabling the language cookie will cause the website to display pages according to your browser’s language settings.
Our website does not use third-party cookies or cookies for ad targeting or cross-site tracking.
Purpose of Use
Responding to your inquiries and communicating service plans;
Fulfilling service agreements by submitting required documents to relevant government agencies, notaries, banks, etc.;
Complying with legal obligations;
Sending you service-related information with your consent;
Analyzing website access to understand which content and language versions are read, and improving website content and translations accordingly;
Identifying broken links, troubleshooting website issues, and detecting or preventing abnormal or malicious access.
Sharing and Cross-Border Transfer
To complete your entrusted tasks, we may need to provide necessary information to government agencies, notaries, translators, and other collaborating professionals. Some information may be transferred between China and Mexico. We only provide the information necessary to complete the tasks and require recipients to keep it secure.
Website access logs are used solely for our internal purposes and are not sold or provided to third parties, except as required by law.
Retention Period
Information you provide voluntarily and information required for service processing are retained only as long as necessary to provide services and fulfill legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
Website access logs (including inferred approximate geographic location and network operator) are retained long-term, with no automatic deletion schedule, to compare website access trends over time. You can request the deletion of logs related to you at any time.
Language cookies are stored in your browser and expire automatically after one year; visitor cookies and choice record cookies expire after approximately 13 months.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information held by us, or to object to specific processing of your information. You can also withdraw any prior consent. To exercise these rights, please contact us through the published contact information on our website; we will respond within the legally required timeframe.
To request deletion of website access logs, please provide us with the IP address used when accessing our website. Logs are searched by IP address, and we will delete all access logs under that IP. If others also use the same address, their logs will be deleted as well. If these visits included a visitor cookie, logs under the same visitor ID from other IPs will also be deleted, such as your access records from home, office, and mobile devices.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in laws and business operations. Updated versions take effect upon publication on our website.
